L13's mission is to create a vibrant marketplace that empowers women by creating events and experiences that engage them. Women make 85% of all consumer purchases yet 91% of women feel like marketers don't get them. We think it's because only 11% of creative directors are women. Our solution is two-fold: we hire women with female marketing expertise and we mentor women embarking on their careers.
Together, we build events from the ground up but can also work with your in-house departments, depending on your needs.
No one event is the same which is why we source the best people to execute and deliver a custom experience unique to your organization. Think of us as a think tank full of femme-power made especially for you!

Larissa Killough is the founder of L13 as well as an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She has more than 20 years of experience building brands on the agency side and on the client side. One of her first jobs was developing Gap's Old Navy logo and brand which involved designing all consumer facing materials, storefronts, and in-store signage. At NBC, she was the creative lead on 12 events for the Oxygen network and its new shows which entailed transforming spaces, creating marketing promotions for the events, editing video, scouting locations, developing run of shows, hiring/overseeing teams of editors, designers, sound engineers, music directors, choreographers, florists, venue managers, photographers, caterers, and of course, pitching and selling the original concepts and designs to senior executives.
Bringing people together has always been a motivating force. Her goal now is to empower women at all stages of their careers so their voices are heard and their wisdom shared for the benefit of ALL.
